Soler followed with a single to center, scoring Trout to give Texas a 6-5 lead. Adell completed the rally with a single to left, bringing Schanuel home to make it 7-5.

Kirby Yates took the loss for the Angels, pitching 0.1 innings and allowing one earned run on two hits. Nathan Eovaldi started for Texas, pitching six innings and striking out ten batters while allowing three earned runs. Cole Winn earned the win, pitching 0.1 innings of scoreless relief. The final score was 7-6. The Rangers improved to 47-46, while the Angels fell to 37-57. Attendance was 29,646.
