Ryan Flournoy is set to remain with the Dallas Cowboys through 2027 under a reported one-year, $6 million extension. The agreement is expected to be signed this week, before Dallas opens its regular season against the New York Giants.
The wide receiver was a sixth-round pick by Dallas in 2024. He was released during the Cowboys’ first round of roster cuts in 2025, passed through waivers and eventually rejoined the club on its practice squad. That arrangement replaced his initial four-year rookie contract, leaving him with three years on the new deal and a possible restricted-free-agent season after 2026.
The extension eliminates that potential free-agency outcome and gives Dallas another season of contractual control. The team called Flournoy’s 2025 campaign a breakout season, and the deal provides additional time for his development during 2026 and 2027 while preserving the possibility of a longer contract in the future. Dallas has also reached a three-year extension agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford.
