Denton police are actively searching for a 69-year-old man named Halvin, who has been reported missing since he left his home around noon on Wednesday. His family has expressed concern for his safety, noting that he has never been away for this extended period before.

Halvin was last seen in the 500 block of E. Prairie Street, dressed entirely in black and carrying a black bag. While he is known to frequently walk around the area, his absence has raised alarms among his loved ones.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Halvin to contact 911 immediately. This situation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
