Marco Gonzales closed out the game with a perfect ninth inning, securing his first save of the season by retiring the side in order.
The White Sox bullpen struggled to contain the Rangers' offense. Noah Schultz took the loss after allowing five earned runs on 11 hits in 3.2 innings. Trevor Richards and Tyler Schweitzer also gave up runs, combining for five more earned runs. Luisangel Acuna pitched the final inning for Chicago without allowing any runs.
Early Offense Sets Tone
