Texas A&M delivered a comprehensive performance on Saturday, September 5, 2026, defeating Missouri State 50-0 at Kyle Field in College Station. The Aggies (1-0) improved to an undefeated start with a dominant showing that saw them outscore the Bears (0-1) by a significant margin across all four quarters.
First Half Dominance
The scoring began in the first period as Texas A&M established control early. Marcel Reed connected with Isaiah Horton on a 15-yard pass, followed by a kick from David Olano, giving the Aggies a 7-0 lead. The defense added to the advantage later in the quarter with a team safety, extending the score to 9-0 before Missouri State could put points on the board.
The second quarter saw Texas A&M continue its offensive rhythm. Reed found Horton again for another touchdown, this time from 12 yards out, making it 16-0 after the extra point, though the official scoreboard reflected a 12-9 lead at one point due to the safety timing.
