Jordan Dwyer could return to TCU’s lineup when the Horned Frogs face UCF on Sept. 26, their first Big 12 game of the season. Dwyer has missed the team’s opening three games because of a foot injury. TCU is 2-1 after beating Arkansas State 31-7.
Coach Sonny Dykes said after the victory that the team anticipates Dwyer playing against UCF and that his return would benefit the Horned Frogs. His availability remains expected rather than confirmed beyond Dykes’ update.
Dwyer transferred to TCU from Idaho and was among the team’s top offensive contributors in 2025. He started each regular-season game, recording 54 catches, 730 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. In his first game for TCU, against North Carolina, he had nine catches for 136 yards and a touchdown.
During Dwyer’s absence, Ed Small has emerged as a leading receiver, while tight end Kari Ashley made contributions in the Arkansas State game. Those performances have provided quarterback Jaden Craig with multiple targets during TCU’s first games.
