Henry To’oTo’o is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury sustained in the Houston Texans’ 36-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. The linebacker left during the fourth quarter and did not return while the result remained undecided.
To’oTo’o made two tackles before leaving. He finished the 2025 season with 95 total tackles and surpassed 100 tackles in 2024. Coach DeMeco Ryans announced the injury update on Sept. 14, but no further details about the shoulder problem were given.
The injury adds to questions at linebacker for Houston. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap wrote on X that the development was not surprising after seeing To’oTo’o in a sling. Garret Williams, who posts as Houston Stressans, identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as potential choices, although Hansen was also injured during the game.
