Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Nico Collins and Ed Ingram could return Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys after sitting out the last two games. Ryans said Houston is hopeful both will be ready for the Week 4 game.
Collins, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and three-time 1,000-yard receiver, has been absent as Houston has struggled to generate production from its outside receivers. Dalton Schultz has been the primary exception. Xavier Hutchinson has led the Texans in receiving across the past two games, making nine receptions for 120 yards.
In an earlier game against the Buffalo Bills, Collins recorded seven receptions, 75 yards and a touchdown.
Ingram’s absence has moved Wyatt Teller into the starting right guard spot. Houston has produced 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown over its last two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who has missed two games with a knee injury, is still listed as week-to-week.
Houston’s most recent game included five sacks and two forced fumbles, even with the edge absences. Sunday’s game is set for noon at Reliant Stadium. Sports.yahoo.com reported the update Sept. 28, 2026.
