Melissa is seeking construction bids to expand the parking lot at its Public Safety Building. The city lists the solicitation as open, with sealed bids due Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The planned work includes grading and paving, drainage and utility improvements, landscaping, irrigation and hardscape, according to the city’s bid notice.
Bids must reach the city secretary’s office at City Hall, 3411 Barker Ave., by 2 p.m. Central. A public opening and reading of bids is scheduled there for 2:02 p.m. that day. The city will then tabulate the bids for consideration of a contract award.
