Mutts Canine Cantina, a popular destination for dog lovers in Fort Worth, has announced its permanent closure. The announcement was made on June 29, and it affects all locations, including the one situated at the Shops at Clearfork.
In addition to this closure, the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeing a variety of dining promotions in celebration of America's 250th birthday and the upcoming Fourth of July. Many restaurants are offering special deals and festive menus to mark the occasion.
Meanwhile, a new upscale steakhouse named Hops Kitchen + Bar is set to open in Old Town Keller. This establishment, developed by the team behind a popular local restaurant, will begin construction in August and is expected to open its doors in the summer of 2027.
Fort Worth has also received recognition as the second-best city in Texas for celebrating the Fourth of July, highlighting the city's vibrant patriotic spirit this summer.
On a different note, Lionel Messi made headlines by setting a World Cup record during Argentina's match against Jordan in Arlington on June 27. He became the first player to score in seven consecutive World Cup games, further extending his all-time scoring record with a total of 19 goals.
