On June 30, 2026, Big V Property Group, The Seitz Group, Principal Asset Management, and Citizens Bank initiated construction on the Rosamond Town Center in Anna, Texas. This event was attended by local and regional officials, marking the start of a significant retail development in the area.

Rosamond Town Center is designed to complement the existing Rosamond Crossing and is part of a larger 750,000-square-foot retail complex in Collin County. The financing for the project includes a mix of developer equity, funds from Principal Asset Management, and a construction loan from Citizens Bank. This development is situated in one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, with Anna expected to experience a population growth rate 13 times higher than the national average over the next decade.

Kenton McKeehan, President and Chief Investment Officer of Big V Property Group, expressed pride in contributing to Anna's development, stating that the project extends the Metroplex by nine miles. The open-air center will cover 355,826 square feet and will feature major retailers such as Academy Sports + Outdoors, Aldi, Burlington, EOS Fitness, Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, PetSmart, and T.J. Maxx, along with various outparcels and specialty shops.

Danielle Kaufman from The Seitz Group highlighted the importance of collaboration in successful developments, while Anna Mayor Pete Cain referred to the project as a pivotal moment for the city, bringing 750 jobs and enhancing the local retail and tax base. Texas Representative Keresa Richardson noted the significance of this growth in the context of America’s 250th anniversary, emphasizing Anna's appeal as a thriving community.

The development team received a Congressional Commendation from U.S. Representative Keith Self, presented by District Director Michelle Bishop. She acknowledged the partnership between the City of Anna and the development teams as a model for successful collaboration in shaping the future of the community.

Big V Property Group, a family-owned retail real estate leader, manages several properties across Texas, including notable shopping centers in San Antonio, Euless, Humble, Cypress, and Austin. The company aims to enhance the retail landscape in the Lone Star State with this new project in Anna.
