The Nashville Predators defeated the visiting Dallas Stars 2-1 on Saturday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. In front of a crowd of 17,260, the home side managed to turn the tide in the opening frame, ultimately leaving the Stars winless in their second game of the season.

First-Period Scoring Action

All three goals in the contest were scored in the first period, with no further points tallied in the second or third periods. Dallas struck first to take a 1-0 lead. Miro Heiskanen scored the opening goal, assisted by Mikko Rantanen and Wyatt Johnston.
