The Dallas Cowboys will kick off their 2026 training camp in Oxnard, California, starting with team reporting on July 27. Fan-accessible practices will commence on July 29, and the annual Back Together Saturday event will take place on August 1. Practices will remain free and open to the public until August 18.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer, in his second season, will hold a press conference on July 29 alongside owner Jerry Jones and executive vice president Stephen Jones. A significant focus for this camp will be the defense, which struggled last season, allowing an average of 30 points per game, the worst in the league.

New defensive coordinator Christian Parker is implementing a 3-4 scheme, and the Cowboys may feature as many as seven new starters on defense.

In contrast, the offense remains mostly unchanged, having averaged 27.7 points per game last season. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Cowboys hosting their training camp in Oxnard.
