Texas A&M edge rusher Anto Saka has been featured in The Athletic's 2026 "Freaks List," an annual compilation of college football's exceptional athletes, as announced by the school on Monday. Bruce Feldman, who compiles the list, characterized Saka as the standout in a talented defensive line group.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 255 pounds, Saka is a graduate student originally from Baltimore, having transferred from Northwestern. He is not the only newcomer in the defensive line, as Sam M'Pemba, a redshirt junior from Georgia, also joined the team, measuring 6-foot-3 and 257 pounds.
The Freaks List highlights remarkable athletic testing results reported by strength coaches and programs, focusing on raw physical capabilities rather than on-field performance. Texas A&M did not disclose Saka's specific ranking on the list.
The list was released while the Aggies are engaged in Fall Camp, with their season opener scheduled for September 5 at Kyle Field.
