FRISCO - Big 12 Football Media Days will be about 17 miles southwest of Melissa when the conference arrives at Ford Center at The Star.
The event gives reporters access to Big 12 coaches and selected players before the season. It is built for questions about rosters, quarterbacks, transfers and expectations.
Colorado coach Deion Sanders is the most recognizable name on the schedule, and the quarterback group gives the event real football substance. Conner Weigman, Noah Fifita, Avery Johnson, Devon Dampier, DJ Lagway and Jaylen Raynor are among the names drawing attention.
